Mr. Balachandran, Consultant Upper GI Surgeon from Doncaster, visited Exeter this week to observe LINX reflux surgery being performed by Mr. Saj Wajed, with a view to developing this service. Exeter is one of only two implanting centres in the UK where this procedure, for gastro-oesophageal reflux disease is available to all patients, NHS or Private.
