Congratulations to Mr Chinthaka Wijesurendere who recently completed the second-year of the Royal College of Surgeons International Surgical Training Fellowship with the Upper GI Team in Exeter. Mr Wijesurendere (pictured here to the left of  Clare Marx, PRCS)  has now returned to his native Sri Lanka, where his Exeter experience of advanced laparoscopic reflux and complex Upper GI surgery will enable him to pioneer specialised services in this field.
