The Exeter Upper GI team, lead by Saj Wajed and including research fellows James Brewer and Raj Veeramootoo were in force at the recent International Society for Diseases of the Esophagus Meeting, held in Vancouver, Canada with a total of five oral abstract presentations.
Subjects included #LINX for #reflux, hiatus hernia and the long-term results of minimally invasive oesophagectomy. World renowned experts, Dr Tom DeMeester and ISDE president Dr Jeff Peters, both former mentors of Saj Wajed were prominent throughout the meeting with several keynote lectures on oesophageal diseases.
